Kate Moss has launched a new perfume called Vintage Muse; the tagline is "Kate Moss is the ultimate muse," a reference to a line heard at the well-publicized event of the MET gala which took place last year entitled "The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion" where Moss wore an Orientalist-cum-Grecian one-shouldered lamé dress with a turban to play the role of the muse.

The Eau de Toilette is a flanker to Vintage (2009), which was an attempt to capture a certain retro atmosphere and reflect Moss's taste for nostalgia. Vintage Muse is,

"Sophisticated and memorable, Vintage muse is a beautifully elegant yet sexy fragrance that reflects Kate's multi-faceted charm."...

The fragrance is said to open on top notes of plum, rhubarb and blackcurrant cream before moving into a heart of peony, Tiger Orchid and purple violet. Base notes are ambergris, white musk and a touch of chocolate.

"The print ad, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, features an iconic and timeless image of Kate Moss whose striking profile portrait captures her undeniable beauty and inner-strength.
