Tom Ford has introduced a new, unisex fragrance in the Private Blend collection color-coded blue named Mandarino di Amalfi Acqua, a refreshing flanker to Mandarino di Amalfi (2014)...
The "blue" collection (the brand does not use this denomination) revolves around the idea of updating the 18th century genre of the eau de cologne. Neroli Portofino, which inaugurated the collection is actually - and this is not advertized either - a reworking of the famous 4711 Kölnisch Wasser.
Per the brand, it is,
"A SERENE PERSPECTIVE OF THE AMALFI CLIFFSIDES, WITH THEIR CITRUS FRUITS AND CALM IDYLL, CAPTURES THE BRIGHT TRANQUILITY. AT DAY'S CLOSE, THE AIR, SCENTED WITH MINT, THYME AND WILDFLOWERS, MINGLES WITH A WARM BREEZE OF NIGHT-BLOOMING FLOWERS."
Fragrance notes are: Mandarin, Sfumatrice Lemon, Basil, Green Mint, Thyme, a Shiso Leaves accord, Jasmine, Wild Flowers.
Prices: $152 / 50 ml & $212 / 100 ml.
