Italian luxury house Bulgari has added a third scent to the Goldea line with Goldea The Roman Night. It takes inspiration from flowers of the night and the oft celebrated nocturnal life of the ancient capital city...
Perfumer Alberto Morillas of Firmenich composed a musky floral chypre, which rests on an accord of black musk and "exquisite blackberries,"
"Night blooming jasmine and tuberose are irresistible nocturnal beauties. Brushed by the delicious kiss of exquisite blackberries and black peony, these flowers arouse desire and call for celebration. When I imagined this Roman night for the first time, the thought of its signature being infused with chypre came to me immediately. At the same time, I tried to enhance the radiant sensuality of black musk with an intoxicating coeur de patchouli and the noble roots of vetiver." [Editor's translation]
The eau de parfum composition opens on head notes of exquisite blackberry and black peony leading to a heart of Night Blooming Jasmine and absolute of tuberose. The base is both dark and radiant with notes of "black musk", "coeur de patchouli" (cleaned-up and airy rather than natural and earthy patchouli) and vetiver.
Available in 30 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml for 60€, 90€ and 108€ respectively.
