German company Mäurer & Wirtz will launch a new flanker to Tabac Man (2000) called Tabac Man Fire Power, from mid-August 2017, to celebrate the 17 years of the original men's cologne...
The composition is "inspired by the untamed primal force of fresh, glowing lava" and the black, volcanic rock it forms after it has cooled. As is so often the case, the fragrance promises to be a condensed version of virile qualities.
"Energetic. Striking. Explosive. That is Tabac Man Fire Power. A fragrance that represents concentrated masculinity and power."
Strength, impulsiveness, rebellion and daring in one - like wild nature, Tabac Man Fire Power is something for real men."
The eau de toilette features spicy clove, and benzoin is underlined, seen as it as a particular symbolic addition to the perfume.
It is "also known as "frankincense from Java", comes from the resin of the benzoin tree, which grows wild in mountainous regions above 1,000 metres. Benzoin has been used in fragrances for centuries and now gives Tabac Man Fire Power its distinctive warmth."
The edt opens on clove, bergamot and cardamom followed by a heart of lavender and tobacco, while the base rests on patchouli, vanilla and benzoin.
Available in 30 ml and 50 ml, with ancillary products.
