Ma Rose by Fragonard is one of the perfumes launched within the new collection Tout Ce Que J'Aime (All That I Love)...
The composition is signed by perfumer Vanina Muracciole. It is described as a morning rose "kissed by mentholated frost."
The inspiration rests in part on a quote from the novel by Vita Sackville-West, Seducers in Ecuador, which evokes the poetry of roses during a solar eclipse. It is however worth noting that the whole novella is about what happens to Arthur Lomax after he starts wearing blue sunglasses,
'He found himself in such a position that he no longer dared to remove his spectacles at all; he could not face a return to the daylight mood; realism was no longer for him.'
Top notes are natural essences of lemon, peppermint and geranium, with a heart of Grasse Centifolia rose absolute, pear tree leaves and magnolia. The base features natural cedarwood essence, white musk and amber.
