Bois Doré by Van Cleef & Arpels

Bois Doré (Golden Wood(s)) is an opaque name for a perfume and I thought it might smell of something like the photograph above, searching for a visual analogy...

But instead it smells more like how this other photograph looks like: pink, fluffy, sweet, child-like and with an unadvertized gourmand touch

Surprisingly, it even smells at one point like that other photograph of clouds and cherubs, very cottony

You end up still looking for the golden wood or golden woods - it's not obvious

Sometimes a nuance escapes the composition, suggesting a glint of gold in the dark - and you are back to the beginning, something akin to the first photograph in terms of light, but it's quite subtle.
