On day 11 of the Advent Street Photography project, we bring you a street art fresco in the XIIIth arrondissement of Paris by Spanish artist Okuda San Miguel...

A colorful Jocunda is emerging, like Venus, from what looks like a fossil fuel (cess-) pool. Perhaps a bath of blood and bile too. The land is barren and Mona Lisa is wrapped in flags, logos, patterns. A fir tree nearby turns the scene into a Christmas card of sorts for our purpose, while the fresco on its own reads as an anti-capitalist manifesto, it seems.
