American fashion label Badgley Mischka founded by designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka in 1988 are set to return to the perfume game come spring 2018. The date coincides with the celebration of the 30 years of their brand...

TPR Holdings LLC announced yesterday that a fragrance has been in the works, as well as a line of color cosmetics. The company produces Cargo Cosmetics, Oscar Blandi Hair Care, Mally Beauty, among other brands.

This is not the first time that the pair are launching a perfume. In 2007, the brand issued Fleurs de Nuit and in 2009, Badgley Mischka Couture, which made quite a good impression at the time.

According to Fashion Network, TPR president Brian Robinson noted that,

"Mark Badgley and James Mischka are iconic designers with a distinct style," adding, "The sophisticated aesthetic of their brand caters to a younger, more modern couture customer. We are looking forward to creating award-winning fragrances and color cosmetics for the Badgley Mischka brand."

Since the duo's core source of inspiration is feminine glamour and in particular the kind that thrived during the golden Hollywood era of the 1940s, we can expect some of that universe to be poured once more into a fragrance bottle. The same goes for the makeup line.

Don't forget to pair all this with a good movie from the same time period.
