Fashion label Escada is releasing its annual limited-edition for sunny days from January 2018 called Sorbetto Rosso (Red Sorbet). The scent wishes to conjure up summer, as usual, this time around a main note of watermelon...
Escada fragrances for summer are well-known for their sweet, creamy aromatic profiles starting with Chiffon Sorbet in 1993. It is one way today to celebrate summer with a popular, hedonistic perfume.
Composition is by perfumer Richard Herpin of Firmenich. His watermelon accord is said to be not only fruity but also watery and green.
Mandarin and Calone amp up the aquatic facet; pear, red apple STT and praline accentuate the gourmand and sweet profile; tiare flowers, Ambrox and musks create a sensual facet, but also one which is comforting.
"The result transports the adventurous young woman to the summer destination of her dreams, unlocking many fond and happy memories."
