Repetto is launching a new fragrance for women called Dance with Repetto, which is said to reinvent the uber popular genre of the gourmand perfume.
Interestingly, one of the perfumers at the helm of this project is none other than Olivier Cresp, the father of the gourmand family, which famously debuted with his Angel by Thierry Mugler in 1992...
The two other perfumers co-authoring the new scent are Nathalie Lorson and Annick Ménardo.
"We wanted to create a contemporary gourmand fragrance for the house of Repetto explain perfumers Nathalie Lorson, Annick Ménardo and Olivier Cresp. We worked with two complementary sensations based on a delicious floral macaroon: the airy-light, crisp note of raspberry and flower petals, and the creamy, sensual note of heliotrope and vanilla. Crisp on the outside, meltingly soft within, like the sparkling woman of today..."
The "refined gourmand oriental" opens on top notes of a crisp raspberry macaroon underscored by fresh and luminous magnolia and freesia. The heart features powdery heliotrope, delicate peony and voluptuous jasmine petals. The sensual base rests on almondy tonka bean, caramel-like Madagascan vanilla and woody and balsamic Patchouli Prisma.
Repetto released their debut fragrance in 2013.
