When you read "Always Summer"

You know it means the end of summer is near...

Since otherwise you wouldn't have to even say "always" and "summer" in the same breath

It's a mantra for the end of summer

Chez McDonald's and moralists alike

Or maybe a latter-day prophecy on global warming

Or an advertizing tag line with a deaf tone

Yet rejoice there is ice-cream

For you will always be able to surf on waves of soft serve

drizzled with caramel

When the sea will have frozen

And even if it can't freeze anymore

There'll be snow capped cups at your local golden arches
