French, apothecary-inspired perfume brand Le Couvent des Minimes, has launched a new unisex fragrance baptized Palmarola, under its niche, historical label Les Parfums Remarquables...
The "Remarkable Perfumes" collection is inspired by the work of explorer, geographer, astronomist and botanist Father Louis Feuillée (1660-1732), who participated in four expeditions to the Middle East, the Americas and the West Indies under the reign of Louis XIV.
Palmarola eau de parfum reportedly recaptures the atmosphere of the Pontine Islands in Italy - their "luminous elegance" and the blinding whiteness of the cliffs under the sun.
The woody-floral composition features top notes of bergamot essence and Italian lemon; the heart rests on jasmine sambac essence and floatsam wood; the base is anchored by Nagarmotha and Gaïac wood.
81% of the ingredients are natural. It is said to be 100% vegan. Scent concentration is 18%.
SRP: 49,99€ for 50 ml and 89,99€ for 100 ml. Currently offered at the introductory price of 35€ at Marionnaud's.
