DKNY are evoking once more all sorts of gourmand indulgences this year with their new Sweet Delicious trio. Just to make sure no tasty cues were left out, the advert features the new macaron du jour, cupcakes, while the three gustatory perfumes offered by the brand are called Pink Macaroon, Creamy Meringue and Tart Key Lime. This is a follow-up to their sweet suite from 2010 entitled Candy Apples Collection
Macarons are so 2010 and cupcakes are so 2011 (this is a reference to the number of adverts in France which replaced one wave of adorable pastries with the other as the it-pâtisserie)...

 Thierry Mugler will launch their second scent dedicated exclusively to the Middle Eastern market after the oud-rich Miroir des Voluptés in 2010. It is called Miroir des Majestés and takes inspiration from the ostentatious, sumptious palaces of the Orient.

 Last year, a new perfume brand was established in Marrakech called Les Sens de Marrakech. They work in collaboration with perfumers from Grasse but specify that their scents are made in the Moroccan city.
Their aim is to capture emotions and images, vignettes from the Orient. Another credo is that they rely as much as they can on natural essences except when too much of those start posing allergenic problems. They stress that they follow IFRA regulations and that there are no Phtalates in their scents. The label launched five initial fragrances in July 2011 in Morocco and in September 2011 at the international level: Oranger, Ambre, Tubéreuse, which are feminine, and Cuir and Encens which are unisex....

 Dior have released a new duo of nail polishes in their Garden Party collection for spring-summer 2012 which mix the attractiveness of color with the appeal of scent, especially one that will help cover the very recognizable scent of nail polish.
