The First USA National Beard & Moustache Championships, June 5, 2010, Bend, Oregon {Casting Calls & Beauty Contests} {Men's Grooming}

Exciting news for men who take their facial hair seriously, Beard Team USA is launching the first ever National Beard and Moustache Championships this June 2010. There are $5000 in prizes. The competition will be hosted by the current world champion, Jack Passion (pictured above.)

The Lisptick that Won't Quit: L'Oréal Infaillible / Never Fail Lipcolour Compact in Target Red (2008) {Beauty Review}

Infallible / Never Fail by L'Oréal is the signature Target Red which first came out in 2007 inspired by the red bull's eye logo that greets customers looking for a bargain with a dash of hip at Target stores. In August 2008, they added the Lip Colour Compact.

For these two reasons, one dealing with the culture of (red) color and the other with a vanity implement, I had to review the Target Red Lip Compact. Except that in reality, I just noticed the frank red and then when I opened the package - not even then -, when I read a press release, I discovered there is supposed to be a built-in mirror,

This is for me one of the new beauty products to watch and test this spring 2010, the upcoming Mascara Hypnôse Precious Cells by Lancôme.

I admit to having been excited like everyone else by the research in mascara brushes that we have seen in the past couple of years and then to feeling a bit dazed after a while. At any rate it's hard to follow the output since all the mascara designers have started to dream and draw while they sleep it seems, otherwise how could there be so many new brushes out there!...

Elizabeth Arden Donates to Cancer Charity with Red Door Red (2010): Look Good...Feel Better {New Beauty Products - Lips} {Beauty Series - Red Lips}

A new, very special red color coming out for the lips this spring 2010 is the 100 year Anniversary Limited Edition lisptick by Elizabeth Arden called Red Door Red.

It is inspired for its color by the iconic Arden red door of the brand's flagship store in New York City which is also their logo and for its gold tone packaging by 1940s glamor.

100% of the proceeds from the sales will go to charity organization Look Good...Feel Better, which helps boost the morale of cancer patients by making them participate in the rituals of beauty...
