Italian brand L'Erbolario has introduced a new fragrance which is inspired by the pactice of seasonal contemplation of cherry trees. Called Tra i Ciliegi, it imagines what it feels like to walk, pause and smell among the cherry blossoms...

The unisex scent has top notes of Italian bergamot, Sicilian orange, Cherry blossom, and Italian mandarin leading to a heart of Jasmine sambac, Eglantine rose, Indian sandalwood. The base is woody and slightly sweet thanks to Malayan patchouli, Tonka bean and Musk.

Cherry blossom scents have become more than just popular. They are veritable staple aromas nowadays, so much so that they make you think of the defining perfume that was Chypre de Coty before giving birth to a genre. Cherry flower perfumes have evolved from motif to genre.
