Hugo Boss XY & XX Human Nature Video {Scented Images} {New Perfumes} {Free Samples}

As previously announced, Hugo Boss is launching a duo of perfumes called XY and XX. The advertising campaign is in full gear and you are now invited to watch the short movie accompanying the perfumes on YouTube (not the commercial with Jonathan Rhys Meyer). Honestly, we initially thought it was a spoof, but the PR representative confirmed to us that it was part of their campaign. It is a parody of the early nature shows, say in the style of the Mutual of Omaha Wild Kingdom series......

Lobogal Pour Lui by Lobogal + Free Samples Giveaway {Perfume Review & Musings} {Men's Cologne of the Week}

As far as one can tell, the Lobogal perfume brand is still very little known in the US and even in Europe it seems despite its quality. I was fortunate enough to be able to test the fragrances from the line and will review them starting with the men's eau de toilette today.

As previously reported and quoting myself, Lobogal Pour Lui (Logogal For Him) is part of a trio of luxury perfumes by Lobogal, the two others fragrances being Lobogal Pour Elle and Lobogal Gold. The brand is relatively recent having been established in 2004 in Paris by the French company BGL-Beauté.

The perfumes were created by noses Pierre Bourdon and Valérie Garnuch and the bottles designed by Thierry Lecoule. Pierre Bourdon is also the author, amongst others, of YSL Kouros (1981), Davidoff Cool Water (1988), Dior Dolce Vita (1995), Frédéric Malle Iris Poudre (2000), Escada Magnetism (2003), and Franchesco Smalto Fullchoke (2005)...

Fragrance News: Free Sample of Forbidden Fruit by Desperate Housewives

~~You can request a free sample of Forbidden Fruit here (~~Update: offer non longer valid). It takes up to 4-6 weeks to receive the sample.

The new perfume based on the popular TV show, Desperate Housewives, is described as a sensual fruity floriental. Each of the five main characters in the series is symbolized by a specific note in the perfume. You can read my previous post about the perfume here.
