Stoned by Solange Agazury-Partridge {New Perfume}

London jewelry designer Solange Agazury-Partridge will launch a new scent on November 14 2006. It is called Stoned and is described as a modern heady oriental. The nose behind the scent is Lynn Harris of Miller Harris. Notes feature Italian bergamot, classic rose, jasmine absolute, labdanum, tree moss, musk and vanilla bourbon. The perfume also, more unconventionally, includes diamond dust....

The designer explained that "I feel very underdressed if I go out without wearing perfume,"  "I'm very faithful. I've worn Chanel No.5 and [Guerlain's] Shalimar for years, and I wanted my perfume to be as compelling as theirs.…I'm not claiming my perfume is as fabulous as that, but I would want it to be."

Stoned will be introduced with only 1000 copies and will be exclusively available during the first 6 months at select Space NK stores. The 100 ml flacon of eau de parfum will retail for $ 276. 60 at current exchange rate. The beauteous bubbly red bottle is topped with a Virgo goddess stopper.

It is interesting to see this trend of creating very limited exclusive fragrances for the happy few. Perfume after all can mean real luxury and not just be its pretence and yet remain relatively affordable, more so than haute couture, as it has often been stressed. Fortunately for our more democratic times a successful initial launch or even its anticipation may mean wider distribution in the future as for Aura by Thierry Mugler.

Hmmmm. It does sound interesting, and I do like the bottle. But I share the general annoyance about these LEs.

It's fine with me. There are and there will be so many other great fragrances to appreciate that I feel unmoved by the perspective of missing out on a few of them. I think that these launches help reinforce the mystique of the perfume world and that may ultimately not be a bad thing for us dreamers.

I love the sensibilities of Lynn Harris perfumes, if not always the scents. And this bottle clearly ROCKS! Hopefully, the juice inside will be worthy. This one could easily become an obsession.

Treazurekitin,

I think that this bottle would look perfect in a Harry Potter movie called The Ruby Perfume Bottle, diamond dust included.

I have to say that it is one of a kind!!! the scent on the skin is at least sensational... i was left stoned!!!!

kindly tell me how to buy this perfume bottle from London. I saw this bottle in Paris at the shop Colette which I hate it.
By the way it is sold Euros.200,00 which is for me a outrageous price.
I would like to order it at a fair english price...
Can you tell me how ?
