Chanel No.5 Eau Première {New Fragrance}

In October of 2007, Chanel will launch a new version of Chanel No.5 meant to be more casually worn, "This is a fresher, rounder, more delicate version intended to be used every day."
It is called Chanel No.5 Eau Première and was re-worked by in-house perfumer Jacques Polge.......

Eau Première tweaks the original's top notes just a bit, adding ylang-ylang from the Comoro Islands and jasmine sourced from Chanel-owned fields in Grasse, France, explained Palma. A 5-oz. bottle will retail for $125.

Marie-Helene, I love your blog! I am a fragrance-hound and I enjoyed reading about different houses and brands in your posts. Anyway, I have always loved No. 5 (it's my second favorite next to Allure), so I'm curious as to how this new version will smell. I'm looking forward to it though!

The new Chanel Eau Premier scent is lighter than the original, it is almost the same but softer, lighter and powdery in my opinion. I love it.
