Dior Miss Dior Chérie Eau de Printemps (2008) {New Fragrance}

Dior is launching a limited edition of Miss Dior Chérie this spring with Miss Dior Chérie Eau de Printemps, which is described as being fresh and mischievous...

The perfume was created by François Demachy who is now seemingly portrayed as the in-house perfumer for Dior on their website although his functions go beyond that position as he also takes care of other fragrance brands owned by the LVMH group.

Top notes are blood orange, Calabrian bergamote. Heart notes are jasmine, neroli, and rose essences. Base notes offer a chypre signature based on patchouli.

The 50 ml bottle will retail for 54.59 €.

I was so excited for this one until I smelled it yesterday and smelt- nothing. Seriously. First I sprayed the small card and couldn't smell it, so then I doused my wrists. Still nothing. Left the perfume store, asked my husband if he could smell anything. Apparently could and he said it smelled "Nice". So there you have it.

It sounds like you had a reaction of anosmia or "smell-blindness" to the perfume, perhaps due to the musks used.

It can also be a question of psychological focus or distraction by the smell environment in the store.

i just purchased this fragance, looking for a new smell, and was captivated! i found this article and i am sad to hear it is limited..

I don't like it. Too fruity
