Montreal-based Canadian brand Lise Watier is launching a new women's fragrance this month called Désirable. It is described as a woody fruity-floral offering a fresh sensual personality. Lise Watier, established in 1972, entered the fragrance market in 1996 with a debut perfume called Neiges which was a resounding success.

Désirable was composed by perfumer Jean-Marc Chaillan of IFF, co-author of Euphoria for Men (with Loc Dong) and CK IN2U for Him (with Bruno Jovanovic) among others. He is the son of perfumer Raymond Chaillan.....

From the press release,

"Desire springs to life in a sparkling, spontaneous flight of sweet apple, honeyed osmanthus, and tart wild berries. The emotion unfurls gently, revealing a subtle nose of freesia, lily of the valley, and magnolia. Like the lingering memory of a kiss, the final note leaves a velvety, refined impression of musk and sandalwood."

The brand has set up a micro site in English and French that you can visit to listen to a "declaration of desire" - "déclaration de désir" from four different types of men.

Désirable is available on the Lise Watier website in both eau de toilette and eau de parfum concentrations. The edp is priced 50 ml and 100 ml at  CAD $ 72 and CAD $ 95. The edt at CAD $ 60 and CAD $ 82.
