L'Occitane have launched a new spring-y perfume for the American market called Plum Blossom in English and Fleurs de Brignolles in French. The latter name pays homage to the celebration of the plum blossom season which takes place in the Provençal village of Brignolles...

The scent has not been released in France (yet) although the French market is currently seeing the launch of Pivoine Flora.

There is a simple Eau de Toilette version and an Intense EDT version of Plum Blossom.

"The Limited Edition Plum Blossom collection, is a springtime floral composition with a luminous, rich fruity trail. Throughout spring, the blossoming plum trees enchant the Provencal village of Brignoles with their white petals and a deliciously floral fragrance. Simply put, the scent is irresistible!"

The perfume is said to open on notes of plum blossom extracts, plum blossom leaves and blueberries. The heart notes are pear and prune essence. The base notes are sandalwood, cashmere wood and musk.

The Intense EDT version is described in the following manner,

"The luxurious Plum Blossom Eau de Toilette Roll-on is a more intense version of the Plum Blossom Eau de Toilette and is ideal for fragrance touch-ups anytime, anywhere. It is a vibrant, floral fragrance that combines the delicate powdery scent of white blossoms with the fruity sweetness of plum fruits."

Prices: $46 for a 3.4 fl oz of EDT and $16 for 0.33 fl. oz of the Intense version.
