Maison Martin Margiela Untitled Gets Fresher with L'Eau (2011) {New Fragrance}

Untitled_l_eau_de_Maison_Martin_Margiela.jpgUntitled by Maison Martin Margiela gets less abstract and fresher a year later in 2011 with its first flanker called Untitled L'Eau.

Perfumer Daniela Andrier stressed that she really only wanted to add hesperidic notes and more concentrated green notes to the original composition...

The idea behind this variation is to create a more aerial, luminous and hopefully also more seductive concoction while respecting the structure of the original scent.

Notes that are now highlighted are mandarin, lemon, spearmint, bucchu essence.

Untitled is an interesting, atypical marine composition which puts the word "dirty" into this kind of scents nowadays usually hitting clean, shower-fresh notes. For a more antiquarian, Greek feel to the notion of sea-side perfume, it's a good option.

A 100 ml bottle is priced at 70€.
