Acqua di Parma is launching a new perfume this month in the Le Nobili collection called Gelsomino Nobile (Noble Jasmine.) The scent centers on a species of Italian jasmine which is local to Calabria and which offers green and fresh facets making it light and airy. The composition is signed by perfumer Michel Almairac who worked under the direction of LVMH head fragrance director François Demachy. The vision behind the scent is that of,

"...a beautiful Italian garden bursting with the first buds of color, with a sunny and fresh sea breeze wafting in from the Mediterranean, in the distance, captures the true spirit of Italian Jasmine."....

Notes in the perfume are mandarin, pink pepper, orange blossom, tuberose, Calabrian jasmine, cedar wood, musk.
