Tom Ford Violet Blonde (2011) {New Fragrance}
Tom Ford is adding a new fragrance to his collection of scents with Violet Blonde, from September 1, 2011. Fronted by Lara Stone, the perfume is meant to be a reinvention of the genre of the violet perfume once so popular in Europe to the point where it amounted to being a craze. While the eau de parfum is said to reveal the spirit of a classic European perfume, it was also reworked to feel energetic and fresh....
The composition is based on a main accord of violet leaf absolute, orris / iris, and sambac jasmine explaining the name of the perfume, with its violet and blonde overtones. Other contributing notes are Italian mandarin, pink peppercorn, creamy benzoin, ORPUR cedar wood, Haitian vetiver absolute, musk and sueded leather.
