DKNY have launched a new flanker to the original crisp appley goodness that is Be Delicious. After a slew of variations, this time it's this idea that more of the same will woo customers. While the matrix perfume is remarkable for its prolonged sensation of new white shirt, the new Be Delicious Eau So Intense takes the risk of potentially blunting that eminently clean accord...
Trudi Loren, Vice President, Corporate Fragrance Development Worldwide, The Estée Lauder Companies. said about the intensification process that,
“There are two ways to intensify a scent. You can simply raise the entire concentration so you have a larger overall impression of the fragrance or you choose one or two key notes and magnify those individually, For Be Delicious, we maintained the original structure, balance and simply amplified the entire fragrance to give it a higher concentration so it has more overall impact both on top and in wear so your Be Delicious is longer lasting!”
Despite this intensification effort, the perfume is said to remain true to the spirit of the original and if anything has been intensified, it seems that it is the very sensation of freshness as the new jus reportedly resembles "the first mouthwatering bite of a fresh picked apple."
At press time, we were not able to confirm wether or not perfumer Maurice Roucel reworked the formula himself as the original author of the fragrance.
The perfume launches this month. DKNY Be Delicious Eau So Intense will be available in a 3.4oz, 1.7oz, and 1.0oz for a suggested retail price of $85, $69, $48.
