Hermès Jour d'Hermès (2012 / 2013) {New Perfume}

The house of Hermès launched a new fragrance last December 2012 called Jour d'Hermès. Composed by in-house nose Jean-Claude Ellena, it will be more widely available from the date of its official market launch on February 15, 2013...

The brand decided to offer it first in their boutique circuit before rolling it out more in the open closer to springtime, which would befit the personality of the scent.

If you are going to associate it with memories of spring 2013 when you discover it, we think that it will help enhance its olfactory impact.

The new Eau de Parfum comes after L'Ambre des Merveilles, a recreation of the beautiful, arresting Eau des Merveilles -- and a perfect match to it, going in a familiar yet completely renewed direction, not a meager feat.

Jour d'Hermès, as far as we have been able to assess, holds a key to a discontinued classic of French perfumery which we will love to discuss more about on this blog when the time is ripe.

Prices: 80€ and 110€. A 107€ recharge is available too.
