Cacharel are launching a new limited edition flanker to Amor Amor this year called Amor Amor in a Flash. The name of the fragrance alludes to a "franglais" or Frenglish expression, "flasher sur quelqu'un" meaning something like being visually struck by the appearance of someone and as a result, turned on. It's close to love at first sight, but not quite. Targeting the youth group, the eau de toilette adds a chapter to the ongoing Romeo-and-Juliet love tale between adolescents spun by the franchise...

People outside of that age group can still resort to Amor Amor for its delicious, cute and precious rose accord and discard the coming-of-age stories, usually sealed by a passionate kiss in a student's garret or at a party.

The new scent opens on top notes of apple and apricot followed by a heart of jasmine and cinnamon and rests on a base of sandalwood and caramel. The composition is said to be a fresh fruity-floral oriental.

The original introduced in 2003 was co-signed by perfumers Laurent Bruyère and Dominique Ropion of IFF. It's been reprised many times since then in a series of yearly spin-offs.

Expect to see it from April 2013.

Prices in Euros: 34€, 48€, 68,50€ for 30 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml respectively.
