Molinard Habanita L'Esprit (2013) {New Perfume}

The French perfume house of Molinard famous for its perfumery classic, Habanita (1921) - an Art Deco gem which has survived to this day in part thanks to its character - have launched a new variation on the scent. Taking a contrarian approach, Habanita the black becomes Habanita L'Esprit, clad in white...

In the past, lighter flankers of the original have been released like Miss Habanita and Un Air d'Habanita. This time, the link is underlined more forcefully thanks to the iconic flacon signed by René Lalique which has become like the negative of the original.

This new rendition is an edp yet is luminous, soft, aerial with "very contemporary" floral and Oriental notes.

Top notes open on lemon, cistus, nutmeg followed by heart notes of Jasmine, Mimosa, Rose and Heliotrope finally resting on patchouli, vetiver, benzoin and white musk.

The name of the fragrance however promises that the spirit of the original will be preserved.

Price is 85,50€ for 75 ml of eau de parfum.
