Frédéric Malle released a limited-edition scented candle for the holidays simply called Joyeux Noël (Merry Christmas). The fragrance was concocted by perfumer Dominique Ropion. It recaptures the typical olfactory atmosphere of the season...
More precisely, the scent is about "an hyperrealistic rendition of the scent of a pine tree mixed with cinnamon, amber and clove."
You might already have that scent in your room, where the Xmas tree stands, but you can think of it as pink blush on a perfectly fresh cheek - it adds a touch of sophistication. You don't need it, but it might make things more intriguing.
Price: $95 for 220 g.
