The LVMH group released a video presenting chief operating officer Alexandre Oulès who is in charge of both the fragrance and cosmetics factories for Guerlain...

In the video communication, Oulès explains that his role is to respect and bring the "gesture" of the creator - be him perfumer Thierry Wasser or makeup artist Olivier Echaudemaison - to an industrial scale of production.

Orphin is were the perfume factory is located producing 12 million fragrances per year while the cosmetics factory is located in Chartres producing 22 million cosmetic products a year with a new location to open this summer called La Ruche. Beehives will be installed within vegetalized patios in a symbolic reference to the Napoleonic bee which adorns the Guerlain bottles since 1853. Output is estimated to double with the new factory.

The whole cycle of production is said to be located in France so as to allow the brand to closely monitor the quality of their products.
