In this Part One of our Perfume Holiday Gift Guide for 2014, we look at noteworthy special Christmas editions of classic and favorite perfumes which have been redesigned for the holidays. Hermès Eau des Merveilles eau de toilette Collector 2014 - 112,90€ for 100 ml.

The flacon this year comes adorned with a silvery crescent moon espousing the contour of the bottle while the galactic theme is suggested by a sprinkling of twinkling stars.

Yves Rocher Comme Un Evidence eau de parfum Collector 2014 - 37€ or 18,50€ currently for 50 ml.

This is a lovely, qualitative fresh chypre created by perfumer Annick Menardo. It's perfect for the perfumista on a shoestring budget, with standards.

Sisley Eau du Soir eau de parfum - 191€ for 100 ml.

The holidays 2014 flacon takes inspiration from both lapis lazuli and zebra fur.

Cartier Baiser Volé Rue de la Paix limited edition eau de parfum - £97 for 100 ml.

Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir cologne for Christmas 2014 - £86

A dark, fruity scent which is dry enough to be worn by men supercilious about the masculine palette of notes.

Lancôme La Vie est Belle Coffret Luxueux - 159,70€

This coffret includes a 75 ml eau de parfum, a 200 ml body milk and a 4 ml "luxury miniature", concentration unspecified.
