Les Infusions de Prada Mimosa Eau de Parfum
Prada are launching a new fragrance in the Les Infusions de Prada series in spring of 2016 called Mimosa...
The mimosa's fresh and sweet scent sounds like a particularly good fit for the collection given its emphasis on transparent textures. This library of scents is currently described by the brand as,
« Resisting feminine and masculine stereotypes and looking beyond current perfume trends, Les Infusions de Prada are the culmination of a reverence for the past, an understanding of our place in the present and the fowardlooking point of view of Prada.
They embody the gracefull weave of apparent contradictions at the heart of Prada: heritage moulded to modernity, poetry meeting precision, instinct alongside intellect, subtetly together with power, sensuality emphasized by freshness. »
The eau de parfum is said to feature the following materials : anis essence, mandarin essence, mimosa, and rose absolue.
Perfumer Daniela Andrier of Givaudan signs the latest addition to the line, just like she did for the first infusion, Infusion d'Iris (2007) and the subsequent fragrances. She is de facto functioning like an in-house perfumer for the fashion house as far as the general coherence of their olfactory signature goes.
