American designer Ralph Lauren issued a new version of Polo Blue now available in a more intense form in eau de parfum concentration. It flanks Polo Blue eau de toilette released in 2003 while expanding the Polo franchise inaugurated with Polo in 1978...
Polo Blue EDP is signed by perfumer Carlos Benaïm of IFF who composed the original Polo. The woody aromatic scent opens on top notes of Bergamot, Cardamom, and a Marine Accord fading to a Blue Orris Accord, Basil, Verbena, and Clary Sage while the base rests on Vetiver, a Sueded Leather Accord, Patchouli, and « Vibrant » Woods.
The advertising campaign continues to feature Argentine polo player Nacho Figueras.
