Estée Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge Gloss Works on Synesthesia, Textures & Uber Sexiness

The release of Modern Muse Le Rouge Gloss eau de parfum in the fall of 2016 will celebrate the anniversary of the launch of Modern Muse Le Rouge in the fall of 2015.

Following up on yesterday's announcement regarding the new, upcoming scent by Estée Lauder in the Le Rouge series, it's been confirmed that it-girl Kendall Jenner continues to be the face of the fragrance...

This time, the company wanted to push the envelope as far as the sensuality of the fragrance franchise can lead, at this stage. While Jenner first appeared in a sage tailored pant suit in the ads, she is now showcased in a fluid red gown sitting atop a bottle of the new scent holding a suggestive pose evocative of Kamasutra bas reliefs.

Jenner is actually younger than the core audience for the perfume, which is seen as the demographic group of 25-45 year-olds.

From a fragrance standpoint, the brand worked on two main accords, the Red Gloss Accord and the Red Vinyl one.

With the gloss accord, they wanted to suggest lip-biting sensuality and a shiny effect, resting on mouthwatering mandarin, a carnal black cherry accord, lush Rosa Centifolia with its honeyed nuances, pink pepper SFE and carrot SFE for added spice.

The Vinyl accord was created thanks to a high-octane accord of leather made to be perceived as highly shiny and electric. This second, main olfactive thread rests on Jasmine Pays Absolute, a Vinyl accord of styrax, labdanum and hot saffron, then also patchouli and bio Vanillin.

Le Rouge Gloss edp is not a priori a gourmand scent, but it takes out a leaf of gourmands, exploring how a perfume can feel addictive. Nuances of rosey honey and organic vanilla will make sure some qualitative gustatory cues are present.

The « fruity sensual woody » perfume launch will be associated with a makeup capsule collection to complete the Gloss look.

Roll-out will begin in August 2016.
