Rosine for Le Snob Eau de Parfum
French niche perfume house Les Parfums de Rosine have partnered with fashion label Le Snob for a new, gender-free fragrance featuring a Gothic rose contrasted with burnt rubber, or as they otherwise state it « A Parisian rose brushed with rubber »...
Les Parfums de Rosine are an alternative art house exclusively dedicated to rose compositions. Their erstwhile link to fashion is indirect through the reference to the cultural and historical heritage of couturier Paul Poiret whose fragrance label name they have adopted. Le Snob is a fashion accessory brand Est. in 2015 specializing in convertible items, with a fascination for the color gold. They also work with show business big names such as Rihanna, Katy Perry or Madonna.
Here's a statement about their fashion philosophy,
« PRESENTING A STUNNING COLLECTION OF HAUTE-UTILITY, LUXURY LEATHERS , CANVAS , EYEWEAR AND OTHER GILDED GEAR: LESNOB. DESIGNED BY B. ÅKERLUND & ROBERT LUSSIER WITH THE LOVES OF ALL THINGS SNOB. GOTH MEETS GOLDFINGER. SKIN MEETS METAL. NATURE MEETS SUPERNATURE. NOIR MEETS STAR. BUT MOST OF ALL : LUXURY MEETS MOBILITY AND CREATES SOMETHING ENTIRELY NEW IN FASHION: SNOBBILITY (RHYMES WITH MOBILITY & NOBILITY.) »
This debut perfume was composed by perfumer Joëlle Lerioux Patris of Fragrance Resources.
The edp opens on top notes of mandarin, elemi, neroli, incense and myrtle seguing into a heart of rubber, rose, davana, plum, cinnamon, clove and Aegean wallflower. The base rests on leather, Atlas cedar, musk, vanilla, amber and myrrh. Overall, the perfume is a "thicker" kind of scent than what we're used of smelling from the house.
Two other fragrances are in the pipeline.
Available in 100 ml edp for 180€.
