Shay & Blue Blueberry Musk (2016} {New Fragrance}

London-based perfume label Shay & Blue Est. 2012 launched a new unisex fragrance called Blueberry Musk, a study on sensuality...

The composition is signed by perfumer Julie Massé, who is the house nose. Founder Dom De Vetta art-directed the project.

Perfume opens on sparkling top notes of blueberry and orange zest developing into a creamy heart of orange blossom and magnolia, while the base is said to be "refined", thanks to white musks and cashmere woods.

This appears to be a variation on a fruity musk theme which has been made most iconic with Mûre et Musc by l'Artisan Parfumeur (1978). Here's a review of Mûre et Musc Extrême (1993). It should be interesting to see how the study was conducted.
