Guerlain has released one of their two annual introductions into the Aqua Allegoria line of lighter summer eaux. In 2017, the unisex Bergamote Calabria evokes gardens of bergamot orange trees in its most famous original region of production in Italy where it is nicknamed "the green gold of Calabria"...

The eau de toilette, composed by in-house perfumer Thierry Wasser since 2008, who is also in charge of sourcing of raw materials for the brand - travelling around the world to do so - is a musky, green and spicy hesperidic scent done in a fresh-oriental style.

In the top, zesty bergamot peel, pink peppercorn and green notes make their entrance followed by cardamom, petit grain, ginger, and a splash of pressed "bergamot juice." The base leaves a sillage made of white musks and ambery vanilla.

Bergamot is one of the most characteristic and historical notes of the Guerlain palette. Its stability is ensured by a "communelle" exclusive to the house, i.e., a blend of different terroirs for a given natural ingredient, to make certain its signature remains the same overtime.

Available in 75 ml and 125 ml for 63,50€ and 88,90€ respectively.
