Rochas has introduced the latest seasonal twist on the classic fragrance Eau de Rochas (1970) with its new eau de toilette called Eau de Rochas Escapade Estivale, which follows up on last year's Eau de Rochas Escapade en Méditerranée...
While the house has issued different collections of updated compositions inspired by the freshness of Eau de Rochas over the last decade or so, this entry is part of a new summer series which debuted in 2016.
The composition is signed by perfumer Michel Almairac of Robertet who said that he wanted to recreate the sensation of well-being and calm on a summer day spent doing nothing. The Italians have given us the word farniente to guide us in this exercise.
Escapade Estivale is said to be a renewed take on the classic note of eaux fraîches, orange blossom. Other notes include cédrat, orange, crisp green apple, mint, and white musks.
SRP is 73€ for 100 ml.
