New Perfume: Insolence by Guerlain

The new women's scent by Guerlain, Insolence, will be available in the US in August. You can find an advance review of it on my fellow fragrance-blogger's site, Victoria's Own. Also read my recently added update here.

The perfume was created by Maurice Roucel. The perfumer is also the author of Be Delicious, Musc Ravageur and L'Instant amongst others. It is described as a fruity-floral and in it, "a vibrant top note of violet combines with midnotes of red berries, including raspberry, used for the first time in a Guerlain scent. Base notes for Insolence include the house's signature iris accords with tonka bean notes."

You know, I think I might love this one. I have a feeling it will be absolutely amazing!

Hugs!

But I don't WANNANOTHER fruity floral!!! *whines like a four-year-old.* I want something stanky like a rose and peony with old knickers. You know -- more classic. Although now that they've given me the glorious Sous le Vent I guess I'm prepared to wait another two years for something I love....

May the perfume gods hear you:)

OK, I get it, so I guess the purgatory would probably smell of a fruity floral for you:)
