Following the creation of their three upscale historical colognes called Colognes à la Russe, à la Française, et à L'Italienne, Institut Très Bien has now released a new concoction called Très Russe (Very Russian) which is a variation on Cologne à la Russe. It is said to have a sillage that is more amberey and more powdery than that of its predecessor. The perfume was revisited by nose Pierre Bourdon....

The top notes for this floral oriental are verbena and citruses. Heart notes are violet and orris. Base notes are amber, musk, and Tonka bean. The flacon is adorned with a couture lace, a reproduction of a motif from the silk factories of Lyon in the 1930s.

It retails in select Sephora perfumeries in France.
