Chopard Pour Homme by Chopard {New Perfume}

Chopard is launching a new men's perfume named Chopard Pour Homme. It was designed by perfumer Thierry Wasser and is inspired by the cult 70s TV show The Persuaders!. The scent is described as an elegant amber woody oriental. It further is characterized by the nose as being "very boyish but manly"[...] adding “Yes, it’s a very youthful fragrance, but the man really needs to be 30-plus to appreciate it.”......

It opens on a sparkling top of yuzu, spicy cardamom, and star anise. It unfolds a rich aromatic heart composed of nutmeg, clary sage, Bourbon pepper, and amber. The base is sensual with notes of labdanum and cedarwood.

Asked to comment on the brief, Wasser said “The two guys in the show were from very different backgrounds but they were best friends and there was a very strong bond between them. There was a dualism between their raspiness and polish and the same thing exists in fragrance,” [....] “You need contrasts to keep up the momentum.

The luxuriousness of the Chopard brand and especially of its watches has been reflected in the high quality of the raw materials used.

The fragrance, distributed by Selective Beauty, makes its exclusive debut in Harrods in the UK, priced £36 for a 50ml edt, £43 for 75ml and £28 for aftershave balm.
