Reflection Woman & Reflection Man by Amouage {New Perfumes}

The luxurious Omani perfume house Amouage founded in 1983 by the Royal Family of Oman will launch a new duo of perfumes in mid-April called Reflection Woman and Reflection Man. Like for other perfumes from the Middle East, the spiritual and moral elements appear central to the conceptions of the fragrances. One could say that the inner self is payed more attention to as opposed to the outer self, the image we want to project of ourselves. Here, it is no exception. As Amouage says "The two fragrances celebrate the power of the individual and were created to inspire quiet introspection and a sense of one's true self and one's own inner inspiration."

Reflection Woman Eau de Parfum was created by celebrated perfumer Maurice Roucel. It is described as a "A light, spring-like fragrance, with notes inspired by a secret garden. Water violet, purple freesia, and tropical green leaves in the top notes, sit above cool white flowers such as magnolia and jasmine in the heart. Warmth is injected in the base notes with the use of amber, cedarwood and sandalwood.".....

Reflection Man Eau de Toilette was created by Lucas Sieuzac who comes from a well-known family of perfumers. "Sieuzac is renowned for his sophisticated fusions of traditional and 'high-tech' materials and the engaging dualities to which his techniques give rise."The perfume is described as "A sophisticated, fresh and spicy fragrance, conjuring images of high summer by the sea. Red pepper berries, rosemary and bitter orange leaves provide wonderfully warm and fragrant top notes, whilst the floral heart contains notes of orris, jasmine, and neroli. As with Reflection Woman the spicy freshness of this fragrance is balanced by warm rounded notes of cedarwood, sandalwood, patchouli and vetyver in the base."

The flacons are hand-finished and were designed by Asprey of London. The Woman's bottle is inspired by the dome of the Grand Mosque in Muscat. The Man's by the Khandjar, the ceremonial Omani dagger.

Reflection Woman will retail for 95 Pounds for a 50 ml edp. Reflection Man will retail for 80 Pounds for a 50 ml edt.

Wow that sounds lovely! I haven't even made it though all this line. I'm scared I will hopelessly fall.

I'm keen on exploring the line too:)

If these are even half as good as the rest of the line, I am in deep trouble. :-)

I'm afraid I sense you might get into trouble:)
