Senseless Essences: An Exhibition on Art & Perfume in Bangkok June 27-July 25 2007 {Scented Paths & Fragrant Addresses}
The French Embassy and the Alliance Française in Bangkok, Thailand are organizing an exhibition on Art & Perfume called Senseless Essences that will take place from June 27 to July 25 2007 at the Gaysorn Plaza........
"13 artists have been invited to work on the elaboration of an “essence” in association with perfumers-creators, the “Nez” (“noses”) from the Givaudan Company, and to create a flask to match the fragrance." Among the perfumers that are participating, there will be Louise Turner (author of the latest Dior Fahrenheit 32).
Beautiful or not, who cares The fragrance tells an artistic intention, such as the perfume of tears created by Louise Turner for Jean-Michel Othoniel. Among the artists who lead the visitors on their olfactory fantasy, some of the most prestigious names of the contemporary art scene and perfume industry."
