Yves Saint Laurent will launch a new feminine fragrance called Elle in October of 2007. Its flacon makes you think of the signature YSL structured, neo-classical style for his clothes as well as of the former fashion craze for fuschia and purple colors in the 1980s in France, at least. The scent is described as a woody, spicy, and floral scent. It was created by Jacques Cavallier and Olivier Cresp of Firmenich.......
"Opening with citron and lychee smoothed by peony, the fragrance follows with a vibrant heart of jasmin sambac and pink berries and ends with woody notes of patchouli and vetiver. In its brief to the perfumers, YSL described a modern and urban woman, very feminine but with a touch of the masculine."
Prices range from €33 for a 200ml body lotion to € ;95 for a 90ml EdP spray. The perfume will be distributed worldwide from October 2007, except for the US and Japan where it will be sold from March 2008.
