Un Crime Exotique by Parfumerie Générale {New Perfume}
Pierre Guillaume's Parfumerie Générale has released a new fragrance called Un Crime Exotique (An Exotic Crime), which is already available at Luckyscent, $105 for 50 ml. Apparently, this gourmand gingerbread fragrance comes from a stash of super private perfumes from the house and is deemed to be no less than"...the most unique fragrance created by this wonderful brand."
Notes are: Chinese osmanthus, gingerbread, tea, cinnamon, star anise, mate absolute, vanilla sugar, South Sea Island sandalwood.

this sounds rather interesting....however i'm a bit skeptical about wearing "gingerbread." but who knows; this may be a nose-catcher ;)

I purchased a sample of this from Lucky Scent. The smell is very intriguing--unlike any I've ever encountered. You can really smell the spices in this one, reminiscent of India (or rather the picturesque India of my imagination). This is not a "foody" scent nor is it saccharine in any way (though the description and list of notes would suggest otherwise). While this was created for women, I could easily imagine a man wearing it--it has enough depth to work. It would likely suit someone looking for an unusual, spicy fragrance.
