Vol de Nuit Evasion by Guerlain {New Perfume}

Guerlain in partnership with Aelia, a chain of airport duty-free stores, will launch a new fragrance called Vol de Nuit Evasion (Night Flight Escape). This is their second venture together following the success of Lights of Champs-Elysées (which we liked quite a bit). It will be exlusively found at the network' stores in France and the UK......

Vol de Nuit (Night Flight) is the name of a classic Guerlain fragrance created in 1933 and inspired by the novel by Saint-Exupery. It remains to be seen whether the scent will have anything to do with the original as Guerlain sent an explicit signal recently with L'Instant Magic that using in part the name of a fragrance from their catalogue does not entail that the jus will have anything to do with the original. Lights of Champs-Elysées is another example of that marketing strategy as the jus in that case had more to do with L'Heure Bleue than Champs-Elysées, a mimosa-based scent. But in both cases, Champs-Elysées and Vol de Nuit seem appropriate reminders of an airport's mission.

The 50ml Vol de Nuit Evasion eau de toilette will be priced at €46.

The product will also be available onboard Aeroboutique Inflight Retail's airline partners.
