Isabela Capeto by Isabela Capeto (2007) {New Fragrance}

Isabela_Capeto.jpg
Brazilian designer Isabela Capeto introduced her debut signature perfume called Isabela Capeto. While designers love to use their own names on perfumes to publicize the brand, they seldom use their logos as the shape of the perfume bottle itself. This time the first thing one will remark when opening the package is an adorable stylized plastic red doll inspired by toy art and a trademark of the designer. The packaging already made a splash, winning one of the Worldstar Packaging Awards in 2007 ........

See here for the list of winners (several perfumes included).

The fragrance was composed by perfumer Carmita Magalhaes of Mane. It is described as a "singular perfume, made for the nomadic woman, open to the world, curious to discover other cultures and to show them in their way."

The scent includes "wooden masculine essences" of cedar, vetiver, sandalwood, "feminine traces" of osmanthus, Brazilian marshland lily, a fruit cocktail with purple plum, and a warm and spicy base with oppoponax, fresh cinnamon, cardamom, pink and black pepper.

The perfume will only be available in Granado and Isabela Capato shops at first before becoming more widely distributed in Brazilian perfumeries. Added: It is actually available at Henri Bendel in New York city.

I feel stupid! I guess I was just overwhelmed when I made my first trip to Henri Bendel in December. I received a sample of this amazing perfume, and I never asked how much a FB would cost...any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I seem to recall that it retails for around $80.
