Guerlain Homme (2008) {New Fragrance} {Men's Cologne}
Guerlain is preparing to launch a new perfume for men starting in August 2008 called unequivocally Homme.
The brand owned by LVMH has the ambition of making it a pillar fragrance on a similar standing as L'Instant and has invested in it accordingly. The main concept is that this man recognizes that he has a dual nature, both human and animal.......
The TV advertising shot by Jean-Paul Goude will playfully suggest this idea by showing a man drinking at a water hole in the jungle alongside wild animals.
The fragrance itself is described as a fresh cologne featuring a Mojito accord. It was composed by Thierry Wasser the new in-house perfumer and artistic director Sylvaine Delacourte.
Notes are: lime, mint, a fresh floral accord with bergamot and a woody one with cedar and vetiver.
The flacon was designed by Pininfarina a specialist of automobile design.
The 30 ml bottle of Eau de Parfum is priced at 43 € and the 80 ml one at 73 €. The scent will be available in Guerlain boutiques from August 2008 and worldwide from September 2008, with focus on the Russian and European markets.
