This summer of 2008, Jean Paul Gaultier is also being seduced by the garden of the Hesperides. As noted earlier with Dior Escale à Portofino, several brands are offering their own versions of the classic Eau de Cologne this summer......

A year after the launch of their gender-bending Eau de Toilette Fleur du Male by Francis Kurkdjian (it should be written "mâle" but the orthography has been simplified), the playful orange blossom composition is being transformed into a yet fresher eau with the significant addition of bergamot as the new jus "...takes us on an odyssey to explore the orange blossom’s myriad facets..."

Grooming items have been added as well,

"To prolong the scented pleasures of Fleur du Male, two complementary products offering a rich, creamy texture are being introduced:

Gel Douche Hydratant Velouté moisturises the skin and leaves it delicately perfumed with Fleur du Male notes.

Baume Après Rasage Apaisant Velouté moisturises and soothes razor burn, leaving a matte finish on the skin."

The tag line is,

"Fleur du Male,
Poetry, Smile and Pleasure
For a man as happy as a king."
And in French,
"Fleur du Male,
Poésie, Sourire et Plaisir
Pour un homme heureux comme un pacha."

The Cologne is priced at 62 Euros, the Gel Douche at 25 Euros and the Baume at 34 Euros.
