Cosmétique Mag, a reference beauty trade magazine in France, has attributed its 2008 Oscars to their picks for the best in beauty in their 19th edition. 34 Oscars were given out including 4 special ones. In brief,

• Francis Kurkdjian was elected perfumer of the year

• Chanel is enterprise of the year

• Youcef Nabi of L'Oréal is manager of the year ......

Two of the beauty products that were oscarized are:

• Carita Duo Eclat Nutri-réparateur

• Lancôme Virtuôse mascara

Pucci Vivara was rewarded for best publicity in retail space and Diesel Fuel for Life for best advertising campaign.
